DESCRIPTION:ITSERR researcher Laura Righi (University of Modena and Reggio Emilia) took part in the seminar “Documentazione pontificia e strumenti digitali: i primi risultati del progetto ITSERR attraverso il caso del divieto di usura”\, within the “Tavola ovale di storia moderna” series organised by FBK‑ISIG. Her presentation illustrated research carried out in the framework of the ITSERR project\, which uses digital tools to analyse the thirteenth‑century papal correspondence on the prohibition of usury\, systematically examining letters from Alexander III to Honorius IV to map cases of usury\, types of intervention by the Roman curia and the networks connecting papacy\, local authorities and communities. \nSee the full programme.
