Abstract

This article offers an analysis of some Jewish sources from the turn of the first century that present the Romans. It compares them with the most representative work of later Judaism, the Babylonian Talmud. This comparison will highlight a diversity of judgment towards the Romans throughout the first centuries of the common era.
