25th Congress of the International Organization for the Study of the Old Testament (IOSOT)

Anna Mambelli took part in the 25th Congress of the International Organization for the Study of the Old Testament (IOSOT), held in Berlin, presenting the paper “The uBIQUity of Sacred Texts between Past and Future: Methodological Challenges and New Tools”.

The paper introduced the uBIQUity project, developed within ITSERR – Italian Strengthening of the ESFRI RI RESILIENCE (PNRR, NextGenerationEU), which investigates the sacred texts of Christianity and Islam through large corpora of Greek, Latin and Arabic sources. By integrating computer science and the humanities, the project aims to develop tools capable of identifying biblical and Qur’anic quotations and allusions in later traditions.
