#EUARE2025 PANEL: TECHNOLOGY AND THE TRANSFORMATION OF SCHOLARSHIP: SOFTWARE AND TOOLS FOR THE STUDY OF RELIGIONS

ITSERR – Italian Strengthening of the ESFRI RI RESILIENCE – took part in the European Academy of Religion annual conference (#EuARe2025) in Vienna with the panel “Technology and the Transformation of Scholarship: Software and Tools for the Study of Religions”. Proposed and chaired by Francesca Cadeddu, the panel brought together S. Aftar, I. Ali, F. Cadeddu, C. Palillo, M. Costa, A. El Ganadi, G. Ferrandino, F. Iezzi, A. Mariani, M. Napolitano, I. Panzeca, G. Puccetti, F. Ruozzi, E. Scapini, S. Shahnawaz, I. Spanò and L. Timpers to discuss how digital tools, new datasets and artificial intelligence are reshaping methods, sources and research questions in Religious Studies, in line with ITSERR’s mission to support innovation in this field through advanced digital infrastructures.
